Wherever you are with faith, you’re welcome. We’re a church family following Jesus together, and you matter to God and to us. Come as you are; we’ll save you a seat.

Two Sunday gatherings, one church family

Morning in Thatcham, evening in Newbury. Same church, same welcome. Choose whichever suits your Sunday.

First time?

Feeling a little nervous is completely normal.

You don’t need to know anyone or anything to come along. If you’d like to say hello first, email us, or watch a past service online before you visit.

Your first Sunday

  1. A friendly welcome

Someone will be there to greet you as you arrive.

  2. Worship and the Bible

We sing contemporary worship together and hear teaching from the Bible.

  3. Time to connect

Coffee after the morning service and during the evening one. Stay as long as you like.

Who we are

No one should do life alone.

Glendale is an independent evangelical church, serving Newbury, Thatcham and the surrounding area since 1983. We’re families, single professionals, retired people and people between jobs, from many nationalities and backgrounds, learning to follow Jesus together.
